About

She grew up on a dirt road in the Northwoods. From the beginning, she had a sense of curiosity about the world, compassion for others and a love for storytelling. She was sensitive, and felt as though she didn’t quite fit in. A series of unfortunate events triggered depression and anxiety that followed her like a shadow. She spent a lot of time seeking to understand her place, but the energy it took left her feeling outcast. As a teenager, she began a love affair with drugs and alcohol to ease her pain.

Despite the hard times, deep within was a desire for more. To rise above it all. After high school, she settled in Duluth, Minnesota, where she studied and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Lake Superior College as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

While singing karaoke at the local bar, she met her soulmate, a man who would eventually walk out of the fire with her. At the time, they were mutually interested in enjoying the party, but soon realized they shared a much deeper connection, creative passion and dreams of a better life. After getting married in 2010, they took the plunge, and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue careers in the entertainment industry.

Years later, she was busy writing and making movies, booking acting roles, walking red carpets and attending an array of parties. From the outside, all seemed well, but under the glitz and glam her battle with addiction was destroying her from the inside out. At the end of her rope, feeling hopeless, she entered recovery.

In 2014, during her first year of sobriety, the direction of her life changed. Personal growth and authenticity became her mission. Her husband joined her on the path.

In 2017, she gave birth to a son, and experienced the greatest love she’d ever known. Craving the solitude of nature and the spirit of the wild, her and her husband decided to ditch the city for a life in the mountains. First settling in the Tehachapi Mountains of California, and currently, in the mountains of East Tennessee.

She finds joy in her moments, whether it’s watching her son on his endless journey of learning and growing, breathing in nature, writing, meditating or continuing to seek knowledge on her spiritual path. There is always something to be grateful for. As a recent Catholic convert, she has realized countless blessings and fullness through her faith.

She hopes to inspire and guide those who’ve struggled with addiction, mental illness, trauma and loss to relieve their suffering, rediscover their creative purpose, and surrender to the joys of living. Healing happens one day at a time.
