There are so many days that go by in our lives that we forget to stop and see life for what it is. Most of the time we are busy in the hustle bustle, going from here to there, this project to that project. There are times I find my head spinning, not sure what direction I’m going in or what the next step is. It is these times that I remember to be still for a little while, quiet my mind and meditate. This always relieves my anxiety and puts me back in focus.

Focus involves the ability to see the tasks at hand and give yourself to one thing at a time. It allows you to see what’s going on around you, but to limit your energy to just that one thing you need to do. Focus involves a whole lot more than brain power. It involves your whole self. I believe that while a person has dreams and aspirations, it is hard to focus until you know yourself. For me, I couldn’t truly know myself until I rid myself of past regrets and negative thinking. I got more on the plain of positive thought, and I’ve been able to create and complete in so many different areas of my life. Find your truth and let it set you free.
