We had our LA Premiere on Sunday November 10th, at the historic Cinefamily Movie Theater in Los Angeles. It was such a great event. It was one I will never forget. “Wind Song” on the marquee, red carpet, drinks, food, a good film and good company. I really didn’t want it to end. But for each ending is a new beginning and that gives me joy. I’m hoping for Wind Song to get seen at some festivals. I can’t wait for that!

It’s so weird to think of this as the ending of a chapter in my life. A very special chapter. After the long, windy road of Wind Song production, it’s time to write the next one. But I’ll never forget the journey I went down, it’s written in history. Wind Song will exist forever. I’m humbled by the knowledge and strength I gained through the process. I feel like I can accomplish pretty much anything at this point. There is so much work that goes into making a film. It is crazy. For us creatives that have such an internal drive to make movies, yes, we are crazy. I’ve  finally determined it. Despite being crazy though, we are the ones that create the magic that people see in theaters. We have visions, write scripts and create a moving picture that has the ability to move people to tears. It really is an amazing gift we are given. Although it can be rough sometimes, it is beautiful. I wouldn’t change the road I’m on for anything in the world. And I’m thankful for those who come together to make a finished product, the editing, the sound, the music. Everyone involved plays an important role. Without the team, the film wouldn’t exist.

I love making movies. What is better than to have the power to create your own vision and put it on the screen for others to enjoy? It is quite an age we are in. We have the power right at our fingertips. I want to be in the line of people making good movies, and making good movies requires knowledge of cinema, knowledge of the business and the ability to write a truly engaging story. Most of all though, it takes passion. Passion is the only thing that will carry you through to completion. Because it’s f***ing hard! But I love it.

God Bless!
